About Me: I am a retired Electronic Engineer who is now interested in art and all things Welsh. I visit Wales almost every year. I am now the President of the Ottawa Welsh Society. I am married to Jill and we have (between us) 8 children and 9 grand-children.

Where I Live: I have lived in Ottawa since 1969. It's a great city for families; relatively small but with great entertainment, museums etc (because it is the National Capital).

Where I Work: My first job was with Marconi's in Chelmsford, Essex but I then came to Ontario and worked in Hamilton and Kitchener, eventually retiring from Nortel in Ottawa in 1994.

Where I Come From: I was born in Swansea but was brought to Canada by convoy in 1940. I grew up in Edmonton Alberta.

What I Miss: What I miss most is the feeling that life would have been different had I grown up in Wales; but how? My parents did not speak Welsh but I have been studing it for 2 years. Dw i'n bwriadu mynd i Aberystwyth yn yr haf er mwyn cymryd cwrs Cymraeg Wlpan arall.
