About Me: Iam married with two teen aged boys,met my wife while
in College in Aberystwyth, she from Canada, Worked for M.A.F.F. in Aricultural
/farm research, they changed promotion,qualifications, so thought I
would give Canada a try, and been here 23 years.
Where I Live: Live in S.W. Ontario, mid way between Toronto and
Detroit in U.S.A., on the map. Highly agricultural area, three large
car plants in area, as well as few parts plants.live in a town of 9000
people . People use first names all the time, even young to older people
Where I Work: Work in a agricultural seed plant producing seed
corn,(maize)and seed soyabeans for the farming industry. Corn grown
here like grass in Wales, cattle not put out to grass here, like in
UK, only for exercise in daytime. Seed Company owned by Dow Chemical
Company,called Dow Agrosciences
Where I Come From: I was born in town of Carmarthen, now in County
of Dyfed, West Wales, Father was employed by Company designing/overseeing
building of Power Stations, so moved around UK and lived in Cardiff
after finishing college and came to Canada from there
What I Miss: Six nations rugby games, especially Cardiff Arms Park,
as it was, Welsh/British beer, weak beer in N.America. British Fish
and Chips, hearing Welsh spoken

I am
living in SW Ontario Canada, about 90 mins. west of Toronto. I left
Wales in April 1978, to emigate out here, having married a Canadian
girl who is from the area we live in at present.
We
have two boys,19 &16. I work for the Agricultural Div. of the
Dow chemical company, In a Seed Corn (Maize) and Soybean Plant. We grow,
harvest, clean and bag the two crops for the farming market.
I am
interested in sports, Welsh Rugby # 1, played in Wales and here
in Canada for 25 yrs.. also like and watch most other sports, and am
an avid reader. I have a Married older sister and a married younger
brother both back in Wales, both living with their families on the edge
of Cardiff. My wife's name is Doreen, and the two boys are Alun and
Owen, note the Welsh spelling.
