I was in M.Navy,(Engineer). A friend had moved to Alberta in '57. I worked for an outfit that delivered ships. They supplied the crews, then flew us back to the UK. In'60, I flew here, instead, gonna work my way out West, to visit.Ended up here,got married. Didn't see my old pal. Found him 2 months. ago in Timaru, N.Z. His daughter e-mailed me, after seeing my search on a message-board.
Live alone now. Why, you say? Well, divorced 20 yrs.innit? Retired a few yrs. back from Ont. Corrections, after a life sentence,25 yrs.

What I miss about Wales The Pubs. I quit drinking 20+ yrs. ago, but when I visited my Brother in Rhoose, Xmas, 2000, I spent a lot of time in them. Was I ever chuffed to find out my old Grammar School had been turned into a Pub,& The Head's study was now 'The Head'.
