More Info. I moved to Canada when my family and a few others from Barry emigrated in July 1966. I was 11 at the time. We used to live at 39 Dock View Road and then after a long wait by my parents for a council house, moved up to Cornwall Road. I went to school at Holton Road school. My Dad, John worked for Barry Pilots and my Mam, Marea was born in Cadoxton and worked at the Gwalia nursing home before we emigrated.
I live in Toronto, Ontario now, am married and have two sons aged 19 & 15. Last time I was home was in 1999 for the last Rugby World Cup and I could not believe how the Barry Docks had changed.

What I miss about Wales My family still living there. Rugby Internationals at Arms Park and hearing the anthem sung there.
