More Info. I work for the Toronto Police Service. Moved here because I lived here as a child. I tried to join the North Wales Police, but, was unable to pass the eye exam. I was told by Colwyn Bay to join an English Force and then re-apply after two years. I did not want to be in England at all, so I decided to move back to Canada and try my luck here.

What I miss about Wales EVERYTHING. I even miss the rain! I miss the smell of the fresh spring rains, the sound of the lambs and sheep in the fields. The beautiful views of the mountains from every window of our house. I miss the sound of the Welsh language spoken all around me. Everything here is different. It's fast paced and impersonal. I will retire back in Wales...no doubt at all about that. I just want to find a little cottage in the north or mid Wales and lose myself in its surroundings. I miss my Nain most of all. She passed on two years ago this Christmas. She taught me about Wales. She taught me about being proud. It's sad going home with her not there to see, but, she left with me my fierce pride and love for everything Welsh. CYMRU AM BYTH.
